Community & Global Missions

This multifaceted ministry has a place for everyone to become involved.

Missions help with financial donations for many different needs. Through our various mission fundraising efforts funds are distributed throughout the year as the Missions and Leadership Teams are made aware of needs locally, nationally, and globally.

A Missionary at First United Methodist Church has many choices including:

• Volunteer work at the Food Pantry.
• Visit members who are home-bound.
• Take a mission trip to Mexico or Russia.
• Be a participant in the home communication missions teams.
• Adopt a child at Christmas.
• Volunteer for natural disaster relief.
• Help organize/ volunteer for mission fundraising projects.
• Serve on the Missions Team.
• Participate in local, national, and global mission opportunities.
